Shah Rukh Khan may just have found a reason to check out arch-rival Salman Khan's new film, Ek Tha Tiger, when it hits theatres on August 15 this year.

The first theatrical trailer of SRK's next biggie, directed by Yash Chopra and tentatively titled Yeh Kahaan Aa Gayen Hum ( YKAGH) , looks all set to be launched with his  Salman's upcoming action spectacular.

SRK has ruled over Diwali for ages. Superhits such as Baazigar , Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge , Dil To Pagal Hai , Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , Mohabbatein , Veer- Zaara and Om Shanti Om were all Diwali releases. Predictably, YKAGH , too, is scheduled to release on Diwali this year, on November 11.

 Get ready because on Wednesday June 20th, you will hear Shah Rukh Khan hosting his own radio show! Yes! Live on the radio Shah Rukh celebrates his 20th anniversary in Indian cinema on this Asian Network special. He will turn radio DJ and present The Shah Rukh Khan Show live alongside Breakfast presenter Tommy Sandhu. The show will run from 6pm to 9pm, only on BBC Asian Network. Listeners will be able to join in and talk to the celebrated star via social media, text and phone. I never make films for the Rs. 100 cr club: Shah Rukh Khan

Besides marking Akshay Kumar’s return to the popular genre — action — Prabhudheva’s Rowdy Rathore also paved way for the actor’s re-entry into the Rs. 100 cr club. This exclusive group seems to have become the coolest place for Bollywood stars to be in.

And although Shah Rukh Khan reservedhis spot in 2011, with RA.One ( Rs. 115 cr) and Don 2 ( Rs. 110 cr), the actor insists he never makes films keeping that club in mind.

“When a newspaper recently wrote about how an actor made it in to the Rs. 100 cr club, someone called me and said, ‘See, you haven’t been included in it’. But I didn’t see (the article) in that light. I make films for my audiences, never for such things,” says SRK, who was on the top of the world when his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the cricket tournament a few weeks ago: “I don’t need a reason to be happy. I want everyone, universally, to love me, and I have always worked towards achieving that. Whenever I get an opportunity, I try and return the favour and make them happy.”

According to the actor, it is his imagination that has helped him get so far in his career. “Someone gave me this book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It talks about how you can attain things by imagining them,” he says.

So did he read the book? “No, I didn’t. But I watched a part of a film that was based on it. It got boring,” he says, before smiling and adding, “I know what they are trying to say. For example, I have been imagining stadiums, my studio, house and even my new office, and as a result, I have achieved things in life.”

SRK-Katrina starrer Yash Chopra's film titled Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum‎

Buzz is that director Yash Chopra’s comeback film has finally got a title. The film, that stars actors Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, will reportedly be titled Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum.

The title has been taken from a song in Chopra’s yesteryear film, Silsila (1981). Y.Chopra returns to direction after a gap of eight years. The last film he directed was Veer Zaara (2004).

Shah Rukh Khan to bring KidZania to Mumbai by early next year

After tasting success with cricket, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is entering the education-cum-entertainment space by bringing the Mexico-based global edutainment brand KidZania to the country.

KidZania is being brought in the domestic market by ImagiNation Edutainment India, which is promoted by Khan, with 26 per cent interest, and KidZ Inc of Singapore, which holds the remaining 74 per cent.

Shah Rukh Khan is entering the education-cum-entertainment space by bringing the Mexico-based global edutainment brand KidZania to the country. 

"We are planning to open three KidZania centres in the country over the next three years. The first one will open in Mumbai early next year," KidZania India Director and Chief Executive Sanjeev Kumar told PTI today.

Around Rs 300 crore are being lined up to develop the three KidZania centres, which will combine entertainment with education, he said, adding that the other centres will be in Delhi NCR and Bangalore. About 85 per cent of the funds will be raised by promoters through a combination of equity and debt, while the rest will be through industry partnership.

The Mexico-based KidZania, which is present in seven countries with 10 centres, creates a kid-centric city experience for the 4-14 year olds by combining role play with fun and learning, where kids would get an authentic and powerful development experience. The centres are spread across 75,000 sq ft with over 60 establishments and over 75 role-playing options for children.

"Our source of revenue will be through tickets, which will be around Rs 700 for a kid, corporate events and CSR activities among others," Kumar added.

Shahrukh Khan interested in "Damarukam" Remake

The latest buzz to hit the tinsel town is that Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has evinced interest in the Hindi version of Tollywood movie "Damarukam" starring Nagarjuna.

According to sources in Mumbai, Shahrukhan Khan has inquired about the film and was asking about how "Damarukam" was shaping up. And when SRK was briefed about the film's script and contents, the actor was reportedly pleased with the plotline it seems. However, Shahrukh Khan will take a final call on this only after the movie's release.

"Damarukam" has almost wrapped up the shooting and is currently undergoing post production works. Anushkha has been roped in as the heroine opposite Nagarjuna and versatile actor Prakash Raj will be seen in an important role. Srinivasa Reddy is directing this film produced by Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. The socio-fantasy film is expected to release in the second week of July.

Shahrukh Khan yet again is romancing his Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi girl Anushka Sharma in Yash Chopra’s untitled film. The couple recently started shooting for the movie in London, but is facing tough time because of the crowd.

You have already seen Anushka enjoying the bike ride with Shahrukh on the streets of the British capital. Well, as per reports, most of the scenes featuring SRK and Anushka have to be shot on the streets, and the frenzied Bollywood fans are the biggest hindrance in the process.

Though adequate security measures are being taken to keep the crowd at bay, it often results in stopping of the shoots, reveal reports. Needless to say, the King Khan is also being stalked by his fans. They are apparently following his every move from the hotel where he is staying. Since the star is not only shooting for the movie but is also holidaying in London with his kids, it’s difficult for him to be in hiding.

Earlier, too, Shahrukh shot for Yash Chopra’s next in London with Katrina Kaif, but at that time things were quite easy on the sets. However, this time the situation is a bit different as major part of the shooting needs to be done on the roads.

"Not at all. Riteish would visit SRK's home earlier and he visits them even now. The two handled the issue very simply - they never spoke about it to each other.

Why would SRK discuss the unreasonable ban with a person who had nothing to do with it? Riteish had earlier done up SRK's office - as he's a qualified architect - and the two were in touch always," informs the source adding that Khan, with his family, will visit Gauri's uncle's home in Delhi next month once he's done with his shooting.

Anushka Sharma, who was missing in action during the first schedule of Yash Chopra’s romantic saga in London, is finally with the director and her superstar co-star on foreign soil. The film’s other leading lady Katrina Kaif joins the team a little later.

On Anushka’s first day at the shoot, she filmed a bike scene with Shahrukh Khan. One quick look at the images brings back memories of Taani and Suri’s alter ego Raj riding a similar two-wheeler in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Obviously, their characters in Yash Chopra’s flick look far more hip and happening than the small town dancing partners of RNBDJ.

According to our birdie, who came up with some interesting goss related to Anushka’s first day on the sets of the YRF film, after canning the scene the RNBDJ couple took off cruising along the streets of London on a fun bike ride. Anushka, who was a pillion rider in the film sequence this time – in RNBDJ she drove, remember? – chose to take the superstar for a ride. Immediately security was doubled to keep curious onlookers at bay.

As of now there’s no clarity about the Band Baaja Baaraat girl’s role in the film – some say it’s an extended cameo on the lines of Rani Mukerji’s character in Veer-Zaara and some insist she plays a pivotal role. Whatever it may be, from what we have heard and seen Anushka’s really having a blast working with her first co-star again!

Gauri, Priyanka bury the hatchet

Until recently, Bollywood’s first wife Gauri Khan and Priyanka Chopra exchanged icy vibes over the former’s alleged romantic liaison with hubby Shah Rukh Khan. Gauri reportedly developed an aversion to PC when SRK and her co-star got too intimate while filming ‘Don 2’ with situation going out of hand, especially when Priyanka was spotted exiting Shah Rukh’s pad at 3 am!

To ensure that there was nothing going between SRK and PC, mediators sprung into action to convince Gauri that the reports she had been hearing about her husband and his new lady love are noting but rumours. And now, guess what, insiders have confirmed that the duo has patched up.

Talking to a daily, a source close to the Khans said, "Things are solved now. Jo thoda bahot issues Gauri had with PC have been sorted now. Right now, SRK is shooting abroad, but when he`ll be back in mid-July, and will host parties, Priyanka will certainly be invited, and Gauri will have pictures clicked with her. There was some trouble, but all is well now.”

SRK's new Hyundai ad goes on air

Automobile major Hyundai Motor India Ltd’s (HMIL) new TV commercial for the Next Gen i10 featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will go on air on Tuesday.

The TVC is built around the theme of, “The World is on your side when you drive an i10,” -- the film unfolds to show how “good things” happen to Khan as soon as he gets into an i10.

Announcing the launch of the new television commercial, Arvind Saxena, Director Marketing and Sales, HMIL, said, “The i10 has been one of our most successful cars, with the new commercial we want to reiterate the message that the i10 continues to be a preferred choice with competition nowhere close to it in styling, features or mileage.”

The storyline revolves around the “good” things that the i10 brings to its owners.

As Khan starts driving the car, he gets great company in the form of Manjari next to him.

And the weather that was looking ominous also begins to turn sunny as he drives along.

The i10 was launched in October 2007. It was awarded the Indian Car of the Year Award in 2008. In September 2010 the Next Gen i10 was launched.

Due to take place om July 10, 2012, the concert which was to feature Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal and Mika Singh along side SRK-Katrina might happen in three months time now.
Reports suggest that the organisers did not have enough time to publicise the concert, resulting in a low buzz about the same and the team behind the show decided to stall it for the time being.

Rumours suggest that Salman wasn't impressed when Katrina signed YRF's untitled project opposite SRK and guess with their much anticipated concert not happening any time soon now, Salman's bound to have the last laugh!

Even though it will be a cameo appearance, Rishi and Neetu — who are extremely choosy about the work they do — have agreed to the film only because of their association with Chopra.

Fans of the couple wanting to see them back together will be delighted to see them in the film. The last time Neetu agreed to a cameo was in Imtiaz Ali's Love aaj Kal, where Rishi had an important role.

He turned producer when he set up a production company called Dreamz Unlimited with Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza in 1999. The first two films that he produced under his production company was Phhir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000) and Ashoka in ( 2001) which was a failure at the box office. His third film as a producer was Chalte Chalte(2003) did well at the box office.

In 2003 Shah Rukh set his another production company called Red Chillies Entertainment and produced Main Hoona Na (2003) under this banner which was a hit.

Paheli (2005) and Kaal (2004) was also produced by him but it didn't work at the box office. Om Shanti om (2007) was the biggest hit delivered by his production house. Billu (2009) also did a fair collection at the box office..

I am Lucky To Work With SRK Again : Anuska Sharma

MUMBAI: Anushka Sharma has been roped in for Yash Chopra's next untitled film, in which she teams up with Shah Rukh Khan again. The model-turned-actress says that she never imagined that she would get another chance to work with the superstar.

Anushka made her debut opposite Shah Rukh in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".
"I didn't think I will get a chance to work with Shah Rukh again after my first film, but I did. So, I am the lucky one. I look forward to it. Mr. Yash Chopra is an institution in himself literally. I guess I would get to learn a lot from that film," Anushka told reporters Thursday at the unveiling of India Today's women health magazine.

"I have not started the shooting yet. I will be joining the crew from May onwards right after my birthday, which is on May 1. So I will start shooting from May 2. I am very excited. I think it is any actor's dream to work with Yash Chopra," she added.

Chopra's film also features Katrina Kaif.
"For me, it was a little different. The kind of films that I have done was different from this one. I was nervous in the beginning, but I think it's going really well and I am really looking forward to it

Chennai Express Will Go On Floor On 10th August

Ever since Shah Rukh Khan decided to work with director Rohit Shetty, who’s been nicknamed Mr Blockbuster, everyone’s been

waiting for their film to get off the ground. Now the wait is over. Come August 10, and the mega-venture, titled Chennai Express, will go on the floors.

Sources close to Khan and Shetty told that the duo met a couple of times after the actor returned to Mumbai after a major schedule of Yash Chopra’s next yet untitled in London. Sources say that since Shetty is busy completing Bol Bachchan and SRK is preoccupied with the IPL, the duo will meet in a few days to decide on the leading lady and the rest of the cast.

Apparently, the film is expected to go on the floors on August 10, and will be made in record time just as Shetty completed Singham in a jiffy.
